Advantages of the citizen card

The Fuengirola Citizen Card is a versatile document, useful to safely identify its holder before certain municipal services and procedures. Its objective is to provide a single support for access to local services so that all existing supports are unified, as well as to promote the development and use of Electronic Administration, bringing digital services closer to citizens.

The City Council of Fuengirola (hereinafter, the City Council) makes available to the user a Fuengirola Citizen Card (hereinafter TCF) that is personal and non-transferable and can only be used by its holder. The user is expressly prohibited from transferring his TCF Card to third parties or allowing its use by a person other than the person who appears as the card holder.

Advantages: The TCF Card allows for different uses and services, so access and use of it grants the applicant the status of user in accordance with the particular conditions of each service and implies prior reading and acceptance of the rules and conditions established. in this document as well as the conditions of use of the services.

The TCF Card will allow its use for:

• Payment of the public urban transport service in any of its modalities.
• Payment and use of the electric bicycle rental service.
• Payment and access to Municipal Pools. Payment and access to Municipal Museums.
• Use in Municipal Libraries.
• Use in municipal Senior Centers.

Use in the municipal Ludoteca. These services may be expanded later by the City Council, in order to expand the functionality of said Card, as new services are integrated into it, to allow:

• The use of Municipal Sports facilities.
• Access to Electronic Administration services, where a digital certificate is not required, and it is sufficient to identify the citizen by means of a PIN code and other security elements that the Card incorporates.
• Participation in campaigns and commercial promotions.
